Hi, my name is Kristina, and I have the honor of calling Francine one of my closest friends. We met six years ago, and I've watched her walk through life with faith, resilience, and grace even in the hardest moments. Over time, she has become family to me.

Francine is one of the strongest people I know. She has endured more than most in her 54 years on earth. Not only has she buried both of her children (the most recent being just 3 months ago) she is the primary caregiver of both of her young grandsons.

Recently, Francine received a cancer diagnosis that has turned her world and the lives of those who love her upside down.

If you know Francine, you know her heart. You know the way she shows up for others, the strength she carries, and the kindness she gives so freely.

She has spent many years showing support to her friends, community, and network. She is well known for her compassion and generosity, for organizing fundraisers, and stepping up for others in need. Now she needs us to step up for her.

This diagnosis doesn’t change who she is but it does change what she’s facing. Francine has pancreatic cancer and is in a fight for her life.

As she begins treatment, there will be medical bills, time away from work, travel expenses as she will be receiving treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, and countless unexpected costs that come with fighting cancer.

That’s where we come in.

Through everything Francine has walked through, her faith has remained a steady anchor. Faith doesn’t erase the pain or make the road easy, but it reminds us that she is not walking this journey alone. We believe in the power of prayer, in God’s nearness to the brokenhearted, and in His provision often revealed through the love and generosity of others. In this season, we are trusting Him for strength, peace, healing, and the grace needed for each new day.
