Help UC Davis Compete At Nationals!

Hello, dear Friends and Family!
As the season approaches its end, the UCD Men's Rowing team is preparing to race at the ACRA Championship Regatta, a national collegiate event that will take place on May 28th & 29th in Gainesville, GA.
We are proud to be sending 18 athletes to Georgia this year in a Varsity 8+ and Novice 8+. The team is fired up and training hard each day to win medals once again, hoping to build on the success our V4+ saw last year.
However, as a club team with little funding from the university, we are financially responsible for almost everything we do. As such, each competing athlete is expected to cover his/her own costs. It will cost a little over $1000 to send one athlete to Georgia, which includes $780 roundtrip plane tickets, $200 for 3 nights’ stay, and $80 for transportation.
We would be extremely grateful for any donation you can spare us to offset the cost and to help some of our hard working athletes who are in need of financial assistance.
