California Labradors, Retrievers & More Rescue  is southern California's fastest growing and most active large dog rescue.  Our 100% volunteer run organization works to rescue more than 1500 dogs every year, finding them forever homes in and around San Diego.  In just 8 years we have rescued more than 8500 dogs - that's a lot of lives saved!  Many of these dogs and puppies were on their last day of life in a shelter, on the streets, or abandoned by their owners.  

In the spirit of the holidays we are reaching out to our community  to help support this cause by giving in any way you can.  You can help by: donating, volunteering with our organization, fostering a dog or litter of puppies, or simply helping to spread our message to your friends, family and co-workers.

Did you know that our non-profit is entirely volunteer run?  Every dollar goes directly to the dogs.  Your donations are used for desperately-needed life saving medical care for abused dogs, those who are sick and/or injured, spay & neuter fees, vaccinations and of course, loads of food.  At any given moment we have more than 300 dogs within our care. It takes funds to care and provide for these little trusting lives on a daily basis.  

This holiday give thanks to all the dogs that have given you so much comfort, companionship & joy by donating today.  We work to continue saving dogs but can only do it with the support and financial backing of our community.  Let's end the throw-away mentality of dogs & puppies in our society.  This is our grand (but real) mission.
