The flood situation in Kerala is really critical. So far, the floods have claimed 75 lives and has displaced thousands of people. The stranded citizens are starving, have no shelter and there’s a danger of disease outbreak in the flood-affected areas. The heavy rains continue to threaten the situation in the state. The Kochi airport has been shut down for a while, and roadways are inundated with floodwater. The citizens are struggling to get to safer ground. The condition is constantly worsening.
