Hope for Lexi

My name is Aaron, and Lexi is an employee of mine at Downtown Scoops. She is a hard-working, bright and energetic girl that comes in every day with a smile on her face. I have known Lexi and her family for years, as her older brother Keegan worked at Scoops for eight seasons before joining the team herself.

 

Sadly, Lexi was diagnosed with Myofibroblastic Sarcoma in January of 2021. She has already gone through two different surgeries since her diagnosis. Unfortunately recent scans have shown the tumor has increased, resulting in chemo failure.  Lexi is now facing another surgery with the possibility of radiation or further chemotherapy afterwards. I have watched her and her family battle this terrible disease, as they've spent many days in the hospital locally and in Ann Arbor. I cannot imagine what they are going through at this very moment. Lexi's parents, Bryan and Jessica, now have to step away from their jobs to be with Lexi as she goes through this next crucial part of her battle with cancer.

 

Please help Lexi and her family as they need funds for medical and living expenses. Let's stand with Lexi and give her immediate family hope as they fight this horrible disease.
