Support Isabel's Battle Against Breast Cancer

- Hi my name is Maria Elena and I would like to share this story with you. About three weeks ago my sister Isabel who is 43 years old, the youngest of four was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was diagnosed with HER2 positive and already moved to one lyph node. This is considered an aggressive type of breast cancer. She will be starting her battle against cancer soon. Her treatment will consist of about six rounds of chemotherapy to try to shrink the cancer then move onto surgery and contienue antibody infusions after surgery. Doctors are anticipating her treatment will be completed around October of next year. Radiation will depend on how well the initial treatment works for her. She has surgery scheduled this Friday 10/18/24 for a port-A cath insertion which is like an inplanted IV under her skin chest to be able to get her chemo and antibody infusions. This is a very stressful time for my sister as she is single mom of a 9 yr old and just like with any other cancer diagnosis, the cost of medical bills, gas and meals and expenses can be a burden and the uncertainty of not being able to work during her treatment and possibly losing her work, medical insurance or even her house and the emotional stress she is going thru right now just knowing she has cancer and has a little one who needs her mother. I created this page to raise money to help my sister alleviate some financial stress and allow her to focus more on her treatment. Your donstions will be greatly appreciated and they will help my sister cover medical expenses and allow her to focus more on her recovery. Quiero compartir con ustedes esta pagaina. Mi hermana Isabel de 43 años, la menor de 4 fue diagosticada con cancer en el seno hase 3 semanas, este cancer se considera agresibo. Su tratamiento ba a consistir de 6 rondas de chemotherapia, y siguria en el pecho a los 6 meses y despues continuar con infuciones de anticuerpo por 6 meses mas. Su tratamiento terminaria el año que entra en Octubre. Tenemos una cita este viernes para una ciguria donle le ban ha poner una sonda debajo de la piel donde del pecho para que puedan darle la chemoterapia, y las infuciones de anticuerpo. Ella es mama soltera con una hija da 9 años y como cualquier dignostico de cancer, el costo de bills, gas, comida y no saber si pueda trabajar y posiblemente perder su aseguranza, su trabajo oh su casa es ena carga pesada para una persona que apenas fue diagnoticada con cancer. Tambien solo de pensar en su hija que la nesesita es muy estresante para alguien en esta situatcion. Ise esta pagina para ayudar ha mi hermana con fondos para los gastos que le esperan y ella pueda enfocarse an recuperarse.
