Help Kevin Fight Leukemia

Donation protected
Kevin Bordeaux II was born on October 20, 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri.  He’s lived here all his life and loves being around his family and cares deeply about his community.  Growing up in a church community, it is easy to see that he always puts God first and that love has translated into helping others succeed, which has had a positive impact in his community.  He’s known for serving others and is always there when people are going through difficult times.

Anyone that knows Kevin knows he’s a true car man.  He enjoys everything about them, from rebuilding engines, fixing any issues, and of course, car shows.  He has worked at the Sheraton Hotel for 15 years and has enjoyed the people and relationships he has formed over the years. The friendships that he has made have been amazing. So much so, that he met his wife working there and they have been together for eight years and married for three.  They even got married at the Sheraton, the very place they met.

Over a year ago, Kevin and his wife decided that they wanted to start a family and had been praying for a while for God to bless them with a baby.  His wife wanted them to get physicals to make sure everything is fine.  During that time, Kevin had noticed that the left side of his stomach was hard and getting a harder bulge and that he felt more tired. He thought it was because of all the work he had been doing and that he was just skinny and his organs were going to show more. His wife became more and more concerned and made him go to the doctor.  On November 21, 2015, he was told to go to the hospital, where his family was told he has Leukemia. He had been surrounded by his wife, mother, brother and uncle when he received the diagnosis.  Tears were shed and his uncle who is their pastor prayed as they all held hands asking for Gods' love, healing, and help.  After the prayer, his uncle stated that he was going to be okay and make it through this, because God had spoken to him.

Kevin was in the hospital for two weeks getting the proper diagnosis and treatment plan. The love God has shown them through the strangers they met, and the family, friends, nurses, and doctors that have prayed with them, have been amazing. It’s been five months now and he has not yet been able to return to work. He spends his days building a closer relationship with God, helping his family any way he can, talking with concerned friends and getting God's will done.

Kevin wants everyone to know that no disease or diagnosis is ever the end and God uses it all for the greater good--nothing is impossible with God.   There's a long road ahead of him and he and his family truly appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers and donations.  All proceeds will go to Kevin's medical bills. God bless you all!
