Last year, I won the Projects for Peace grant, a $10,000 grant that is awarded to create sustainable projects that promote peace around the world. Over the summer, I built a vocational training program, run through a cafe, in Mae Sariang, Thailand. I was surprised that $10,000 was enough for the entire project (including set up, construction, transportation, ect).

I hope to build another vocational training cafe this summer in Guatemala, following the same structure as my last project.
