Older Couple looses Everything in Fire
On the morning of Thursday August 4th around 11am, Robert Gorz age 60 and Chris Schwoerer 65's trailer-home caught fire.
A Demolition crew was next door, demolitioning the trailer to the left of their own home. While demolition was happening something “popped” and caught the trailer that was being taken down, on fire. Due to the proximity of the homes and time frame of the fire department taking longer than 25 minutes to arrive, the fire spread to Bob and Chris’s trailer home.
Bob and Chris are devastated. All of their valuables, keepsakes, clothes and personal belongings are gone, along with the place they once called home.
Chris is retired and has a hobby of card making and crafting. Due to the fire, she has lost it all. All her hard work, family photos, scrapbooks, handmade cards- have all been damaged. She has such a love for cardmaking and it just brings me to tears to know that she has lost everything.
Bob Gorz is a working Appliance Repair Technician desperate to make ends-meet. He has a love for family games, movies, photos, and civil war replicas.
Due to the extent of the fire all of these precious memories an keepsakes have melted away.
If you can only imagine what they are going through and what they still need to go through to get back to “normal” life. Right now they have no home, and they are in shock of what happened. Bob and Chris are displaced staying with family with only the clothes on their backs. The home they loved for over 15 years is unsalvageable and they must re-build all they worked for mkst of their aldult lives.
Bob and Chris are wonderful parents to 3 daughters, 2 sons, 2 grandbabies and 3 granddogs . They are loving people that are in need of support through this devastating circumstance.
