Fountain for Heritage Square's 50th Anniversary

Tax deductible
In 2019, Heritage Square will be celebrating its 50th anniversary! To honor the museum, current and prior volunteers are raising funds to purchase a new fountain very similar to the one that originally stood in front of the Hale House at its original location in Highland Park. Funds raised will be used to buy the fountain, water pump, a plaque noting the gift from the volunteers, and whatever else is needed to complete the installation. The Volunteer Committee is viewing this as a restoration project to help bring the Hale House back to its former glory.

Here is a picture of the Hale House with its original fountain, and we were lucky to find a very similar model is still available for purchase in 2019!

The fountain will be presented to the museum during the anniversary festivities and we hope you will all be able to attend (date TBD). This restoration project will forever represent the love and dedication the museum's volunteers have for Heritage Square, in addition to adding to the beauty of the museum itself!

The fountain costs roughly $2000 including shipping and we are hopeful to raise enough funds for the basin as well. As an added incentive, if we are able to reach the goal of $2000, we have an anonymous donor who will match the initial goal, giving us a total of $4000 to complete the project!

Thank you for contributing to the 50th Anniversary Volunteer Gift and we look forward to seeing you at the dedication ceremony!
