On August 15, I was involved in a serious head-on accident. I was life-flighted to the closest Level 1 trauma center, where I remained for almost a week. I required orthopedic surgery to repair the damage caused to my right leg, which I cannot put any weight on for 6 weeks. I will be out of work for at least the 6 weeks, and it might be longer depending on what the surgeon thinks.
