Family and friends!

 We are starting this page in support of our beautiful 17-year-old niece, Taryn Gilmore.

 On Saturday, October 29th Taryn was taken to a children's hospital by her mama, Alison due to excruciating pain mostly in the abdominal and back area. The medical team has been able to help lower her pain some however she is still unable to drop below a pain level of 7.

 After a week of multiple tests and constant palliative care by her doctors and nurses, the oncologist diagnosed her Saturday with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a very rare form of cancer that affects mostly children and teens.

 On Sunday, November 5th she started receiving chemo to shrink the large mass that is causing her so much pain.

 This is her first week of her 12 week initial treatment protocol that will include 3 days of treatments the first week, second week off for recovery, followed by 5 treatments on the third week, then another week of recovery. This sequence will repeat two more times. She'll will need to be hospitalized during each week of treatment.

 Alison is thankful that so many have reached out and asked how they can help. Any donations will help offset medical costs, meals, transportation expenses and other upcoming costs during this challenging time.
