Hi, my name is Dan and I'm raising money for my co-worker Lewis and his son Zach. Zach was diagnosed in October 2022 with aplastic anemia. Since the diagnosis, he has been in Edmonton, 6 hours away from his home, family and friends while he gets blood transfusions. Lewis has been traveling back and forth from Edmonton on his days off and vacation time to support Zach in his journey. Zach is a 17-year-old, who previous to the unexpected diagnosis, was a healthy active teenager who was passionate about hockey and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad. He is on the donor list for a bone marrow transplant and will require chemotherapy treatments once a donor is found. Calgary is the location where the transplant will be done so more travel costs will be incurred. Please help me in supporting Lewis and Zach with medical and travel expenses!
