Stephen's medical journey began in July when he was misdiagnosed with stomach flu. After several arduous days in the hospital, doctors discovered he actually had a ruptured appendix with blockages, requiring multiple procedures including a nasogastric tube and pelvic drain. Two months later, Stephen finally underwent an appendectomy. Just as he was recovering, more hardship struck in December. Stephen and his wife Ayla suffered a miscarriage, and within two weeks of Ayla's D&C procedure, Stephen was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He underwent an orchiectomy on December 18th and now awaits a CT scan and treatment plan, likely including radiation therapy. Amidst hopes of starting a family, Ayla and Stephen bought a new house, but they now face uncertainty and ongoing medical bills. If you are able to contribute or share Stephen's story to raise awareness of these challenges, it would provide meaningful support during this difficult time. Even just taking a moment to read his story makes a difference. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
