Michael Herdsman Home Going Fund

My name is Gemini and my cousin Michael was diagnosed with AML only one week before he was to celebrate his 16th birthday; as a matter of fact, he received this terrible diagnosis on his mother's birthday. Sadly, Michael had to celebrate his 16th birthday in the hospital connected to several IV tubes. Michael is an avid basketball player and huge fan of the game. Michael also enjoys spending time hunting Pokemon. Tohelp keep up his spirit, he was hunting them while he was hospitalized, and caught a few of them from his hospital bed. After a lot of prayers, Michael received aggressive chemotherapy and was sent home two weeks ago. However, his mom and dad just learned that they now need to step up his treatment; this means, Michael will be going back into the hospital, only this time, he has to go to Boston, MA for more specialized treatment (This is over an hour from home). We are optimistic about his recovery but would desperately like to help his mom and dad with his medical bills because insurance will not cover everything. Your help would mean a great deal to Michael and our entire family because this vibrant young man still has a lot left to offer the world. Michael quietly worries about how his parents are going to afford his medical bills and this stress is not good for his health. Needless to say, we want to help ease this stress so that Michael can concentrate on getting better. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
