MCHS USAP Robert Sumpter's Funeral
Donation protected
Robert passed away Sunday morning, as painful as it was to see him go it was a blessing because of how much suffering he had endured the past few weeks.
Those who know him know that he was a man who took care of everybody, and how he would always give regardless of getting something back, how he would think of others before he thought of himself.
Bobby delighted in making a difference in the lives of the people around him, however small it might have been.
He showed this mostly in how he taught, in his love and enthusiasm in teaching, he taught for 39 years at Mira Costa High in Manhattan Beach, and another 20 at San Marino High,
I'm going to miss him, his sense of humor, The way that all the way up to the end he would still be fighting to make things right, the constant "Don't worry We are going to be fine" I cannot fathom how much I'm going to miss him or how i'll manage without my Best Friend.
Every day Bob thanked the Nurses and Doctors many of whom were his students, and you could see in his eyes he loved each and every one of us.
He was My rock, My foundation, not just financially but emotionally, our bank failed to notify us that his Life insurance monthly payment was cancelled on a $300,000 plan, and by the time we found out it was too late to reinstate it, I currently have $2.900 saved up for his funeral costs.
Thank you all for just reading this, as i know he will be happy knowing how much people care.
Janet, Sumpter
