For everyone who knows Kris Zahmel will know that he doesn't like help from anyone when it comes to money.
He will probably get up me for asking for help but he needs it.

2years ago Kris arrived in Mackay after spending the previous 9months riding trackwork for Chris waller.
Within the 2nd week of Kris riding trackwork in Mackay he shattered his leg.
A horse threw itself on the ground and landed on Kris's leg at a funny angle.

He has had 3 major surgeries already and has 2 plates and 19 screws in his leg.
His 1st surgery was to put a exo fram on his leg as he couldn't have a cast on because he had fracture blisters.

2nd surgery was to remove the exo frame and put the plates and screws in.
This procedure was ment to take 4hours, there were a few complications during the surgery.
Once the surgeon opened up Kris's leg it was much worse then he first thought.
Kris lost alot of blood and needed 3 bags of blood.
Surgery ended up  taking  7.5hours.

Kris wasnt able to put any weight on his leg for a long time.
When he was finally allowed to start putting full weight on it he broke 2 screws, so had to have more surgery.
They fixd 2 screws that had broken and put 2 more in.
Doctors have told him he will need at least 2 more surgeries minimum.

Kris has been told that if he was to ride and he comes off and lands on his leg it would be a disaster and most likely lose his leg.
Kris hasn't been on a horse for 2years, and for someone who has ridden horse's since he could walk its a pretty hard thing to do.
It's the only thing he knows!

He still has trouble walking and is unable to do alot of things he use to.
Two nights ago, Kris was walking up a small set of steps and his leg gave way.

Kris currently has no income as his work cover has stopped as it has been 2 years and they feel there is nothing more they can do for him.
He can not get any help from centerlink for 8Weeks and he can't work as his leg has not healed.
Pity the bills don't stop when your income does.

I am asking (begging) everyone who has ever met or heard about Kris to please donate so he can get through the 8 weeks with no income.

Please help Kris pay his bills, so he has a roof over his head and doesn't lose his car.
He will be forever grateful.
