Urgent Help Needed for Mom's Cancer Fight

A Mother’s Heart, A Family’s Struggle

My mother is the kind of person who has always given everything for others. For as long as I can remember, she’s worked tirelessly, not for herself, but for the people around her. Whether it was lending a helping hand to a neighbor, offering words of encouragement to a friend in need, or staying up late to make sure my siblings and I were taken care of, she’s always been there for others.

She never asked for anything in return—never expected any form of recognition or gratitude. Her heart was always full of love, compassion, and selflessness. Her life’s work has been to make the world a better place, one small act of kindness at a time. Now, after years of giving without hesitation, my mom finds herself in a battle she never imagined she would face—a battle for her life.

My mother has been diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma. It’s been a difficult road—physically, emotionally, and financially. The medical bills have piled up, and with her health in decline, she has been unable to work as she once did. On top of that, the bills she once could manage are now stacking higher, and she is in danger of eviction from her home. The place where we’ve made so many memories together is now at risk of being taken from her. It feels like everything she has worked so hard for is slipping away, and it’s breaking my heart to watch her fight not only for her life but now also for the security of having a roof over her head.

We’re in urgent need of financial help. I’ve tried everything I can to support her, but I’m at my limit. The stress of trying to keep up with mounting bills, medical expenses, and the looming threat of eviction has been overwhelming. My mom deserves peace—peace to focus on her health, peace to fight this illness with everything she has, and peace to know that she won’t lose the one thing that’s been her constant: her home.

That’s why I’m reaching out. I’m humbly asking for any help you can offer. Whether it’s a financial donation, sharing this story with others, or offering a word of encouragement, anything will make a difference. The urgency of her situation is real, and I know that if we can ease some of the financial burden she’s facing, it will give her the space she needs to heal. This money will be used for medical expenses and her rent and other utilities and for backrent from where she has missed work.

My mom is the greatest person I know. She has always given so much to others, and now it’s our turn to be there for her.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for any support you can provide. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us. Update since have writing this and before I could even share it, my mother has been readmitted to the hospital with more devastating news. It has spread to all of her lymph nodes and other areas of her body and she is having to have a MRI done because they think it may be spreading to the brain because she’s been so delirious and dizzy lately. I’ll put it in God’s hands. God bless those that can help with any type of encouragement
