Hi everyone, I’m putting this together for my friend Monica. She’s a loving mom of three and one of the strongest women I know. If you’ve ever met her, you know she has a huge heart and is always there for the people around her.

Recently, Monica was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Aggressive Breast Cancer. She’s now in India with her family, where she’s getting treatment since it’s much more affordable there. For the past six months, she has been undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Ahead of her are more rounds of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery, and radiation, a long and exhausting journey that will keep her out of work for quite some time.

Chemo and immunotherapy have been incredibly tough; they leave her drained, sick, and fighting the constant side effects, but Monica continues to face every single day with resilience and determination. Her focus is on healing and being there for her children, who are her biggest source of strength.

On top of everything, Monica is worried about covering her cancer treatments and keeping up with her house back in Atlanta while being out of work on disability. No one should have to carry the weight of battling cancer and also worry about losing their home.

- Covering the costs of Monica’s ongoing breast cancer treatments

- Helping with her mortgage so she has a safe, stable home to return to
