Our mothers fight against cancer.

As some of you may know, on January 15th of 2025, our beautiful strong mother was officially diagnosed with cancer again.

After going through chemo and radiation but eventually beating breast cancer at the young age of 35, we recently learned she will have this battle again. However this battle is unfortunately more aggressive. She’s been diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma that’s entered into her chest wall.

They have been seen by specialists in our area and it was determined due to the nature of the type of cancer and the location being in her chest wall, she was going to need to be treated by a specialist that would be able to provide her care that’s familiar with this type of rare aggressive sarcoma.

That specialist was located at MD Anderson in Houston,Texas. MD Anderson has a reputation for being one of the best places to receive care and we have heard nothing but great things.

Unfortunately that means her and her husband mark will be living in Houston for the duration of her 18weeks of chemotherapy and followed by a major surgery.  

We’ve learned insurance doesn’t cover some of the medications she needs during this time and having to live in a hotel for 4.5 months, food, and other unexpected expenses on top of maintaining all the expenses back home that this is going to get very costly. They have had to uproot and leave their home, kids, and grand babies which in itself is tough if you know our parents. They love their kids and grandkids!

We understand times are tough for everyone and understand not everyone has extra to donate but we started this in hopes of being able to help them take a little stress off a big situation.
