Leader of the Pack - Tina's Cure
There comes a time in every animal rescuer's life, when they must rescue one of their own. This time has come for Jackie and me.
Meet Tina, aka: Tina Bobina or Beanbo!
Tina came to us in 2004. She is the the light of my life and the ever-welcoming "leader of the pack" for an endless stream of foster animals of all shapes, sizes and conditions that come through the door of our little home.
Last week, Tina was diagnosed with Lymphoma - an aggressive cancer of the lymph system. We are so lucky we caught it early, as Lymphoma is actually quite responsive to chemotherapy! But chemotherapy isn't cheap, and so, we ask for your help.
Jackie and I have been in the animal care/welfare feild for our entire adult lives. We dedicate our time and energy mostly to animals that require around-the-clock medical care, and those who require hospice care. In fact, some day we hope to start our very own non-profit, dedicated to senior animals.
We hope you'll consider donating whatever feels comfortable for you - every dollar counts, and we really appreciate it!
