Born 11/18/15, our (Chauncey & Lizmarie Colon) Daughter Camila Enid Colon was diagnosed with a rare disease known as Pontocerebellar hypoplasia type 8. She was not supposed to make it. With many growth abnormalities came so many more risks. Our little miracle fought through many obstacles for 2 months until we were finally able to take her home from the N.I.C.U.. Over the course of 9 months she has been through so much causing her to be in and out of the emergency room. Now 11 months old, the doctors have not given Camila much longer to live. Camila now has a collapsed lung, severe pneumonia, multiple infections caused by her condition, and worst of all silent brain seizures. We have traveled a long road with our daughter and unfortunately it breaks our heart to have to face this reality that she may not be here much longer with us. Lizmarie and myself are now trying to raise enough funds to cover the costs of her funeral. We appreciate any and all donations made. It's been a long journey and no parent should have to bury their child, but we pray we can count on the support of everyone through this time.
