Jackie and Kaleb have been close friends for many years and have recently renewed their relationship. They're expecting a baby girl in February 2026, but she has been diagnosed with Gastroschisis—a rare condition where the intestines develop outside of the body. Because of this, Jackie’s pregnancy is considered high risk, and they’ll need to move to Newcastle around Christmas. The medical care and support provided by the John Hunter team have been extremely helpful, but during this time, both Jackie and Kaleb won’t always be able to work.
