A Miracle for Mom

Donation protected
My mom, LaRea, has always been a joyful and selfless giver.  In fact she is the best giver I know.   Two verses of Scripture she has always reminded me of are "It is more blessed to give than to receive" and "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

This is why I am humbly reaching out in this valley of need for my mom.  She would never want me to ask her family, friends or strangers for anything, yet she would always want others to reach out to her for help in times like these.

She is in desperate need of a MIRACLE.  We need a mountain to be moved!

In April she spent a week in the hospital with a severe bladder infection and colitis.  She returned home only to quickly develop other symptoms that were common with stroke...double vision, loss of balance, speech trouble and extreme fatigue.
From late April to now August 5, she has continued to deteriorate neurologically without clear cause or explanation.
She is currently an inpatient in a larger medical center outside of her home town of Estes Park, CO.  Doctors are running a battery of tests to try to pinpoint what is causing this rapid deterioration.
Right now, they are waiting to do a spinal tap on Monday to find out  if this is a virus or a disease that may or may not be curable.
Because of her neurological functioning, when testing is finished she will be transferred to a rehabilitation hospital about an hour from her home for at least 2 weeks for intensive  therapy.

As a result of this, my mom has not been able and will not be able to continue for the foreseeable future, her pace running their small business in Estes Park.  She and my dad, Mike, have worked side by side as L&M Services servicing private homes, vacation rentals, new constructions and more for over 15 years.

Compounding her current medical condition, their business was devastated by the COVID-19 crisis and continues to suffer a large loss.  Without mom or dad being able to focus right now on rebuilding business as the economy slowly reopens, their livelihood is at stake.

Your gift will help to cover the urgent cost of whatever medical care mom will need to diagnose and treat her condition.  Your gift will also provide relief for some of the bills that have and will certainly continue to accrue due to the lack of income.

God is the only one who can make this valley of trouble a door of hope (Hosea 2:15) and I know that he uses the compassion and generosity of His people to accomplish that!

My mom has an amazing faith in the power of the Lord Jesus Christ to heal her.
It is written in Matthew 17:20 "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move.  Nothing will be impossible for you."  WE BELIEVE THIS TO BE TRUE!

I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to read this request.  My family will be forever grateful for your prayers and generosity.

With love and humble gratitude,
Kim McDaniel (LaRea's daughter)
