Hello Friends! I met Lisa Pinelli and her son Dylan about 13 years ago. Dylan was 5 at the time and played T-ball with my son Garrett. My husband John was the coach and Lisa was the team mom. When I met Lisa she was a full time mom and babysat a little girl on the side to make extra money and did catering jobs as well. We lost touch for a while and I would run into her at Shop Rite where she worked along with her oldest son Jake. I know they moved away for a bit and when they returned to NJ, Garrett and Dylan picked up where they had left off. I unfortunately, never had the pleasure of meeting her husband Nick. One night Dylan had spent the night at my house, around 4am I received frantic phone call from Lisa, that Nick, Dylan's dad had passed away suddenly during the night. "Could I keep Dylan at my house until the medics came to take him away". OMG!!! My heart broke for Lisa, Jake and Dylan. Looking into his eyes and knowing his father had passed away was devastating for me, I can't even imagine what Lisa and Jake were going through. Nick, unfortunately, had some medical issues and did not leave the family with any life insurance. As it was Lisa was struggling to make ends meet while he was alive and now left alone with no insurance and a struggle to pay for the funeral, Lisa had to rely on friends and family for support. She has been working full time for an insurance company and does catering jobs any chance she gets. Dylan works a part time job and goes to school full time at Brookdale. Jake also attends school and lost his job because of his school schedule. Currently Lisa is struggling to pay her rent, put food on the table and pay her utility bills. Any amount you could contribute to her and her family would be a blessing! This morning I spoke to Lisa and heard her eletricity was going to be shut off because she was behind on her bill. In addition to her still mourning the loss of her husband, which was only 5 months ago, dealing with the holiday season with out him she also has to deal with day to day bills that are piling up. Any amount you can spare would be appreciated. Even if you can only support them with a one-time donation or a small amount each month anything would help.
