This fundraiser has been started by the Leash Your Fitness family to help our dear friend and fearless leader Dawn Celapino give her dog Jack the best cancer treatment available to him.  Jack was diagnosed with meningioma last week and qualifies for a treatment called CyberKnife, which he will begin next week.  You can read all about his diagnosis and treatment on our blog .  This is a very expensive procedure, not to mention all of the tests it took to reach a diagnosis.  And while we know Dawn is extremely capable and independent, we wanted to take this opportunity to give kindness to someone who is always helping others in every way she can.  We also want to help spread awareness about this disease, its symptoms, and the options available should you ever encounter it again.  We encourage you to read the blog at the link above, it is VERY informative!

Dawn and Jack have been an inspiration for so many through Leash Your Fitness and Jack's Journey USA. They teach us to live each day to the fullest with our pups, to be active, and to try activities we didn't even think were possible to do with our dogs.   We all need more time with the dynamic duo of Dawn and Jack.  We hope you will help us support them so they can keep inspiring others at home in San Diego and across the country!
