Shine your Light, Cindy Gomez

On April 11, 2022 our family received devastating news. Our beloved Cindy (22) tragically died in a car accident in our hometown of Rochester, MN. She was en route transporting a patient when another car lost control and impacted her side of the vehicle.

Cindy was a young woman full of life and dreams, lover of cats and sunflowers. She worked in a group home because she loved caring for the elderly and functionally diverse individuals and had recently been accepted into a nursing program.

I, Tia Eva, Cindy's aunt have setup this fundraiser with the intention of supporting the Gomez-Pena family during this time of grief and loss. The donations of this fundraiser will go to her mother Alicia Gomez to cover funeral and burial expenses as well as grief support.

I pray, Dear Cindy, that while your departure from this realm was abrupt and tragic, your passage to the land of souls be easy and peaceful, illuminated by the prayers of those who love you.

May you rest in power and peace.

May you dance among the stars.

May you shine your light from above.
