Amanda and Kevin started dating in 2006 as teens and in March of 2009 Amanda was diagnosed with Stage 4 Brain Cancer. In October of 2010 Kevin and Amanda were married.  Though they only gave her 6-9 months she has fought this for 7 years. Amanda suffered a stroke and lost the ability to her left arm and leg.   Through all this her husband, Kevin, has not given up on her and has been there each and every step of the way. 
Amanda has always been grateful to have us, her family, in her life as we are to have someone so strong and determined in ours.
In 2011, Kick Out Cancer Team  for Relay for Life was created in support of Amanda. 
In December 2015 her cancer returned and once again she had to go through surgery at UCSF. She's been through many rounds of chemo, radiation, and steroids that have taken a toll on her liver.
Amanda is now on hospice which keeps her comfortable at a time like this. She needs full time assitance for daily needs. Amanda and Kevin need your financial help as bills are accumalating and a full time caregiver is needed. We would deeply appreciate your help and any donations.
Amanda is a great part of our family. She gives us strength, faith, and hope. We will not let her go without a fight.
