I'm starting this campaign to help raise money for my degree. I got accepted into Medical school and started studying in September 2016. I am absolutely over the moon! This has been my dream since I was a little girl. As I got older every time I visited a hospital I would look up to doctors hoping that one day that might be me!

I am now in my third year, which means I spend nearly every day in the hospital, assisting doctors on the wards and in clinics and learning constantly. I have to put here, that I am overwhelmed by the dedication and utter unselfishness of every single member of NHS staff I have come into contact with. Their patient care is incredible and beyond any expectation I had before working here. This is not just a job to them, but rather a way of life.

Since starting the course I honestly feel that it is what I am meant to do in life.  I find it such an inspiration the bravery patients have despite often having huge amounts of pain or suffering. A doctor is so much more than providing a diagnosis or treatment plan, a doctor is there to provide hope when an individual is completely uncertain.
I think it is an honour to be a doctor. 

I have previously done a degree in Medical Science which I absolutely loved. I did another degree first as I wasn't accepted into Medicine at this time.

As this is now my second degree I am not entitled to a tuition loan from Student Finance.  Even with working full time in holidays and part time during term time, it is impossible to get together enough money to fund the degree and living expenses. 

I have a beautiful family, but my Mum is a single parent and is unable to support me financially.
A few years ago, my family went through a really difficult time and I honestly thought it might break us. Finally we are seeing the light again, and I feel blessed to have their support behind me.

I feel that England and the NHS so desperately needs extra doctors. The hard work and dedication of doctors in incredible. The current shortage of staff is real though and I so want to help this.

How many people can honestly say that they are doing their perfect job? I have wanted to study Medicine with everything that I have. I would be absolutely heartbroken if I had drop out. I am determined to not let money define if I can fulfill my dream. 

I hate asking for help, but I am so worried. I am really struggling. I know that people are incredible in times of hardship and I cant express in words how grateful I would be to get any support, no matter how small.

The good news is I am now half way through my degree! I would be so grateful for any further help, it would just mean so much.
