Alisha's Toughest Fight
Donation protected
My name is Chantia Miller, and I met Alisha Stevenson (Harley) during her training at the Cincinnati Police Academy in 2005, and we have been friends ever since. In fact, Alisha is a friend to everyone she meets. Alisha is very fun, energetic and sweet. Moreover, she is dedicated to a life of selfless service both personally, as a loving wife to Joseph Stevenson and mother of her 1 year old son; and professionally, as a Police Officer. Alisha diligently serves and protects as an officer, and also fights other social issues in various ways. Now Alisha needs our help as she battles her toughest fight of her life, against Colon Cancer.
On 07/06/16, Alisha visited a physician because she had blood in her stool for several months, and over time the amount of blood was increasing. On 07/10/16, Alisha was diagnosed with Stage 2 Colon Cancer. On 7/29/16, Alisha had a MRI, and on 8/2/16, the results indicated the cancer progressed to Stage 3. Today, 08/09/16, Alisha was scheduled to begin treatment; however, she is currently obtaining a second opinion and her treatment will begin on August 17, 2016.
Alisha has been a positive light for so many - family, friends, co-workers, and strangers. Even during this difficult time Alisha is sharing her journey with everyone she meets to impress upon them the importance of monitoring their health and enjoying life. Now I am asking you to join me and several others to help raise money for Alisha's treatment and care.
Prayer warriors mount up and pray fervently for Alisha and Joseph. We have our faith in God's hands and we know He will carry her through this.
