Hello, I am creating this GoFundMe to help put our dear friend Pam to rest. On the morning of July 2nd, Pam Parker received her Angel wings and went to Heaven. Although we are all very sad that she is no longer with us physically, we know deep in our hearts that she will always be with us in spirit. As life would have it, nobody was prepared for such a loss; we ask her friends, family and anyone blessed to have met Pam to help with funeral/service costs. To my mom, my siblings and myself.. Pam was more than a friend, she was family! She was a bright light in the darkest of places, she could make you laugh for days with all her silly shenanigans! My mom and her loved to take silly pictures on Snapchat, and watch the music video where Pedro Fernandez throws his cape on the floor! Or work on a puzzle together. So many times i would call my mom while she was with Pam and I could just hear them argue back and forth… I feel like Pam would occasionally do that just for fun! . She will definitely be missed.. Thank you Pam for everything you did for my mom and my siblings. I will carry you in my heart forever!
One of Pam’s first jobs was as a Telephone Switchboard Operator, for GTE, which was kinda funny, because Pam HATED to talk on the phone.
In 1981, she was one of the first female Field Service Representatives hired at Southern California Gas Co. She worked for So. Cal Gas Co. for 16 years until she injured her back. After that, she worked for an Appliance Repair Co., was a Cab Driver (lousy hours). She had her own Construction Co. for a while, but physically couldn’t do the work by herself. She worked at Palm Canyon Resort and Spa in the Maintenance Dept. for 13 years until she had to quit as her back had gotten so bad and painful that she could hardly walk without the use of a walker.
Pam loved animals and would have adopted everyone we came across if I had let her. I always told her she was the Mother Theresa of Animals.
The one thing I can say about Pam is she loved kids and had a big soft heart.
I just know I have lost someone near and dear to me and will miss her daily. ❤️
