Aid David Sexton's Fight Against Colon Cancer
Donation protected
On July 29th, 2024, I went in for a colonoscopy. Then, barely awake, I was told I had colon cancer, which has been devastating. After a CT scan, I was told that the cancer had been contained to the colon. My surgery was scheduled for 3 weeks later. It turned out to be a 5-hour laparoscopic surgery with help from a robot. I was told they removed 8 inches of my colon but had removed all of the cancer. The surgeon removed 25 lymph nodes, with 14 being diagnosed as pre-cancerous, so the decision was made to have 12 rounds of chemotherapy. I have just finished round #7 this week. The chemotherapy I am on makes me very cold sensitive, so during chemo weeks, I am basically glued to staying in the house.
The funds will go to keeping me healthy with vitamins and supplements, organic foods, anything to keep me comfortable while fighting this. I am grateful for any donations received and for your thoughts and prayers that I have received already or will receive. I truly believe with God’s healing and prayers that I will be back to work in April.
Much love,
David Sexton
