Jesse's Journey with Pitt Hopkins
Donation protected
After a long 12-year journey, Jesse finally has a diagnosis that fits him like a glove. Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome (pitthopkins.org) – a genetic disorder on chromosome 18. There are only 550 known cases in the world. Our family now has an opportunity to embark on yet another journey, one that will hopefully help us find some long-awaited answers. Treatments, medications, services and many other aspects of our lives may be able to change for the better. However, this can only begin with a trip to a special Pitt-Hopkins clinic located in Boston, Massachusetts. Our family will travel for six or more hours from Abington, PA to Boston, MA for an appointment on September 8th and 9th. We will see four specialists. Because this is out-of-state, our insurance will not cover about $2,000 of the visit. Many of you, our family and friends, have asked how to help. Even one dollar will help. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers over the years, and for the future.
