The Janus for Jordan Fund
The Janus for Jordan Fund was set up to help Jordan's parents pay for the specialized education that he requires in order to succeed in life.
Jordan is a 17 year- old male that has autism( Asperger's Syndrome) and suffers with ADHD. This has made surviving in a normal education setting impossible for him. He was attending school in the inner-city environment where he lives with his parents and was getting lost. The guy was not learning anything and was constantly being picked on by his peers. The school(s) didn't have the time or proper manpower to attend to Jordan's needs and brushed behavioral issues from his peers under the carpet!
Jordan lacks social skills and isn't able to advocate for himself. He requires a specialized one on one teaching setting in a smaller, less noisey environment. One where he has his own specialized curriculum where he can procede at his own pace, build up his confidence and friendships. That's where "The Janus School" comes into play. They've been providing specialized education for K-12 students since the 1990's and have proven to be experts at it!
Jordan has been attending The Janus School in Mount Joy, PA for two years and has made tremendous strides academically and socially. Unfortunately, Jordan's parents aren't able to afford the tuition anymore and he has a year and a half before he graduates as a senior. They need approximately $2500 to pay for the rest of the 2016-17 school year and it's not certain how much will be needed for 2017-18?
Now, Jordan's parents are affraid that he'll have to return to the inner-city school environment and fear everything he's strived to accomplished at The Janus School, will be lost. This is where Jordan needs your help so he can continue his progress at The Janus School and graduate a functioning individual of society.
Who knows where Jordan will be in 10 years? An education from "The Janus School" will provide him with an excellent head start and lead him on the road to success as a person with a purpose!
