Emilia Ngwi Ayuk

================================================================

Born on February 1st 1975, this young, lively, vibrant and very energetic man was stolen from us. At just a tender age of 41, my best friend, Tambe Ayuk lost the battle to live. No death is ok, nor admissible, nor is it tolerable, but when it happens so sudden to someone so full of life, that sends a numbing chill down your spine.
Its over a week since my friend took his last breath. I am still in denial but I just can’t anymore because of what his departure has left us with; 4 little children and a young wife to pick up from whatever is left of their lives as they try to get to a sense of normalcy again. Would that ever happen? I very much doubt that. However, what I know is that raising 4 children in the United States by two parents is hard enough, I know this because my wife and I are currently raising 4 beautiful kids. As much challenges as we both are facing as a team just to be there for our children ; from providing a comfortable home, to juggling childcare needs around our professional lives, to periodic health challenges and everything between, I can only imagine the daunting task ahead that awaits his young widow. She is now left all alone to love, protect and provide for their very young children. If there is one thing I am hoping to do for my friend, is to do everything I can possibly do to see that Mrs. Emile Ngwi Ayuk survives the mounting pressure of down sizing to a single parent home.

As a God parent to one of the girls, I can’t be any more worried about the future of these children without their father. That’s why I come to you to please join me to help ensure that when these children get to college age, the financial burden to their mother wouldn’t be as much.

Our goal is to honor our late brother and friend by making sure his children live as normal as they possibly can. We all know Tambe because of his skills as one of the best DJ in the African community. He drove us all wild as we danced our way and celebrated all the many happy moments in our lives. It was his craft and he took it at heart. Even after a major health scare as serious as an open heart surgery 6 months prior to his death, our beloved brother could not wait to be back again, doing just what he loved doing best, but there is a part of him that many never saw, and that’s his life as a father and the love for his children. As a father, Tambe’s main concern has always been centered around the well being of his children. Every father hopes their child receives the very best in life including education. We are hoping you can help by donating toward's Tete, Jamea, Alieh and Sharon’s college education. There is no telling how much relief this will be to this young widow who now has to shoulder such responsibility all by herself. Our hope is that the less she has to worry about the future of her children’s education, the more she can focus all her energy towards just raising her children.

I’ve come a long way with my brother, and my hope is to keep fighting for that which mattered to him – those kids. I know that for him and his wife to ask me to be a God father for one of his girls, it was an honor I never took for granted. It is why I have been in my Godchild’s life ever since and why I will continuing being in their lives as long as I have life in me. As the best man at my wedding, I couldn’t have had it any other way.

Thank you all so much and may God bless your kindness to this very needy family at this very moment.

Funeral arrangements are still ongoing and more information will be made available in the nearest future.
