On Monday Nov. 9 my brother Josh had a severe injury at work that crushed and severed four fingers on his left hand. They reattached his fingers but aren't sure yet if they will begin to heal or have to be amputated. Workers comp covers his medical and 65% of his normal pay. I would like to bump it to 100% of his normal pay for the amount of time it takes him to get back to work. Ironworkers traditionally take up a collection at the job site to help out our brothers and sisters who have been injured, and for the families of those who have been killed.
