Dave was headed from Medicine Lodge to Harper when a fuel line broke on his truck. He barely had time to jump out of the truck before it burned up completely.
He’s shook up but ok, thank God.
If you know Dave, you know what a tireless worker and advocate for Veterans he is. Dave gives of his time and money to support the American Legion Legacy Run, Patriot Guard missions, the Big Cats at Turpentine Creek, and many other causes.
Dave is faced with an unknown period of time with no income while the insurance process runs its course.
Now we have the opportunity to show Dave just how much he means to us, and help him get through this tough time. The American Legion Preamble contains the phrase, “By our devotion to mutual helpfulness”... This is how we can demonstrate that value. We urge you to give what you can to help out.
