One good thing about divorce is that you sometimes end up with great stepfamilies. I was blessed with some amazing "steps" who often felt more like true family than blood relatives did... My last remaining (step)grandparent, my grandma Grace, passed today. I am really truly bummed. She was a sassy, talented, creative, smart, classy, beautiful woman who always made me feel like a special human. Gaga/Yaya, you will be sadly missed.

I would desperately love to be at her memorial service this Saturday August 6th, 2016. Not only would it be wonderful to pay her my respects, but it would give me and my son Jonah (2) a chance to see family and friends who have never met him.
