My name is Brandon Chapman and recently I had the privilege of leading a group of missionaries to serve the people in Memel, South Africa. While on this trip our eyes were open to the multiple issues related to extreme poverty. The two issues that stood out the most were the lack of food for the children and the lack of quality education. The thought of my children going hungry and not being able to have proper education that could launch them into success gave me a crucial gut check. All I could think about is that there has to be a way to help.
While this trip has brought life changing thinking and living to our group as individuals we really wanted to make a difference in the lives of the children in Memel. We’re hoping to provide the type of change that will benefit their future and their eternity. We realized that this could be done, but we can’t do it alone. We are asking you to join us in helping to improve the future of these children by raising $6500. This money will directly benefit the people of Memel, SA through the organization Mission H.O.P.E USA by providing the following:
Education:
Sponsor 1 child:
$225.00 = Tuition for 1 year (this also includes 2 meals/day while attending school)
OUR GOAL- Sponsor a Class:
$5000.00 = Tuition for 20 children, 2 meals/day for each child + Teacher’s Salaries
Feeding Program:
Sponsor 1 child:
$67 = 1 meal/day for 1 child for 6 months
$134 = 1 meal/day for 1 child for 1 year
OUR GOAL- Sponsor 15 children:
$1000.00 = 1 meal/day for 15 children for 6 months
Anything extra raised will go to the feeding program so more children can receive a meal. Thank you in advance and please help us in spreading the word by sharing our story.
