Over the last several days, there have been a number of random attacks in Eastsound, mostly in the Seaview area. At least four women have been targeted by an individual(s) who has slashed tires irreparably, broken car windows, and potentially this same individual is responsible for breaking at least one window at the Country Corner. The individuals affected so far are Amanda Sparks, Erin Quies Wild, Emily McGerty, and Renee Segault. Each of them has at least one tire that needs replacing as a result of this violence, and all of them have lost income due to having to sort out the resultant mess (even having to go off island and forgo working in order to get necessary parts and repairs). So far the needs are as follows (this will be updated as we get more information): 

Amanda Sparks: $140 for a new tire plus a trip off island for repairs (presumably at least $100 in additional expenditures) 

Erin Quies Wild: $300 for tire repair + at least $150 in lost hours at work + an as yet unestimated repair for a broken window. 

Emily McGerty: $200 for tire repair + at least $100 for a trip off island for repairs

Renee Segault: $200 for tire repair (although she has to replace both front tires, at $200 each- although only one was slashed)

Ella Nelson: has had a car and a uhaul attacked. We are waiting to confirm the details of the estimated cost of the slashed tire, although it sounds like the Uhaul is covered by insurance. (11:07am)

These are the needs that have been detailed so far, and we will update this page as we get clarity on their specific needs or if other attacks are confirmed.
