Recovery from a fire

Greetings, I am Dr. Ivan Edwards, a close and personal friend of Rev. Willie Bacote and his precious and dear family. I have known Pastor Willie Bacote for over 37 years. He is more than a close friend to me - he is like family.

My colleague, dear friend and brother in Christ, Pastor Willie Bacote, lost his home to a horrible fire that razed the entire apartment he and his family lived in to the ground. This happened just a little over a day ago (see link below).

His beloved wife, my sister in Christ, Carmesia, and their son, Michael, are safe and unhurt. However, they have lost everything (all their belongings) in the fire.

They are in a safe location now. The Red Cross and other agencies are on the scene to help families.

Willie Bacote, my friend, is the gentlest person I know. He is consistent, genuine, kind and will love you no matter what. He reflects Christ in his walk.

Let us all lift them up in prayer and support as they go through this awful experience.

The initial goal of this drive is to raise $5k to help them with basic necessities - like clothes, furniture and household utensils. Please give as you are led. All monies raised here will be given to him and to his family via electronic transfer to his account. I am acting on his behalf.
