Tracys Journey to Kidney Transplant

Those of you who know me know that the miracle of transplant is very near and dear to my heart. My dear friend and co-worker Tracy Dillard needs a kidney transplant. 17 years ago Tracy was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney disease. The doctor seemed confident that the disease would not significantly affect her until much later in life. In the last 30 days, her functions have dropped drastically and she has been referred for dialysis and to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix for application into the transplant program. Tracy is a single mother of four amazing children and the cost of transplant including the permanent anti-rejection medications that are required after are out of reach for her, which is why I have created this account. The money raised will help pay for pre-transplant testing, out of pocket costs for the procedure and lodging for the mandatory stay in Phoenix after the transplant. Transplant is a miracle I have experienced firsthand and I am honored to take up the torch for my friend and help her get her second chance at life.
