It is with deep sadness and shock that we create this Go Fund Me campaign.

Karen Kennedy tragically lost her life in the most unforeseen manner. On Monday, October 3rd, Karen was home with her boys, like she was on countless other weekdays, when she suffered a massive heart attack.

Karen was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, and mother. But she was also a remarkable friend. Although she was a transplant to South Florida, her infectiously happy personality quickly garnered her a great number of friends. But she never forgot what it was like to be the “new kid.” She had a knack for making other people feel included and welcomed.

Karen touched so many people’s lives, and we’re all trying to find a way to help. Sean, Brendan, Colin and the rest of her family are doing their best to come to terms with this senseless tragedy.

With the loss of Karen's income, we thought this would be the best way to show our love and support during this difficult time.

All funds will go to assist their immediate financial needs with the balance going towards the boys' college savings.
