We are raising funds to help street vendor, "Don Juan" in recovering the funds lost during a robbery on Monday, July 17, 2023, at around noon. Don Juan is an 82 year old and works as a "paletero" in the streets of Oakland daily to make a living. Don Juan has informed us that he is unable to pay his rent this month, amongst his other living expenses. This is the third armed robbery he has experienced in the past week. As a defenseless man, he is left with no choice but to withstand this behavior from these criminals and keep it pushing day by day to make a living.
