Maple’s Recovery

Hi folks!

I was contacted about a stray dog, in serious need of rescue, near Meridian, MS. I routinely rescue and always have a plan when I commit to helping an animal, but not this time.

Maple, was quite literally starving to death on the streets, and needed help NOW, so I said yes, because how do you say no to a dog who is a walking skeleton?

Her needs will be extensive while she is in foster. She has a long road ahead of getting healthy, gaining weight, likely Heartworm treatment, vaccines and a spay (all as she is deemed healthy enough for treatment). She will need to stay in foster for approximately 6 months while she is vetted and recovers from whatever her awful past was.

Any amount donated is going to cover her care as she recovers. I’ll keep folks updated on her progress here, as well as on Facebook as we move forward. Please consider making a donation to give Maple the chance to have a life!
