Let's End Polio - Mt. Kilimanjaro
Donation protected
I was running up the stairs the other day and it struck me -- there are children that will never be able to do this. The real shame is that, had they been vaccinated (a vaccine we take for granted here in the States), their paralysis would have been avoided. Polio can be prevented with one dose of vaccine that costs as little as 14 US cents!
We are 99% of the way to eradicating Polio once and for all. I decided I want to help in that effort. I will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro this July with my fellow Rotarians in an effort to raise funds that will be used to reach the most remote, underserved regions in order to vaccinate every last child. EVERY CHILD WORLDWIDE has to be vaccinated in order to stop the transmission of Polio.
I hope you’ll join me in my effort and donate money toward reaching my goal of $10,000.00. Every last penny I raise goes towards the cause and every dollar raised by myself and others in Rotary International will be matched by the Bill and Linda Gates Foundation.
Thank you for anything you find in your heart to give, every donation counts!
