Grandma Suzy Needs A Ride to get to and from her cancer treatments. We are raising money to buy a modest used commuter car.
In October of 2014 Susan was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Since her diagnoses she has under gone a series of chemo and radiation treatments and has been an amazing fighter with her loving husband at her side. Her doctors are so impressed with her strength and how she has responded to the treatment.
Susan is currently undergoing a stem cell replacement therapy in which her own stem cells are harvested, then her immune system is wiped out and hopefully cleaned, then her stem cells are returned to her to try and bring back her immune system. During this very intense treatment, Susan is having to go to the hospital daily for shots, blood withdrawals and other medical procedures. Currently Susan and her husband have a borrowed truck to get to and from, but it has become too difficult for Susan to climb in and out of it.
