“Smokin” Joe Sousa was taken from his beautiful wife Carmine and 3 boys on Saturday August 20 of 2016 after suffering extensive injuries from a motorcycle accident. The loss of a high school sweetheart, a loving husband and father is being absorbed as each minute goes by.
Joe has been a hard working Union Ironworker in the CA Bay Area for over 20 years and was loved by many. He cherished his family and was proud of the work he did to support them. His laugh and personality for certain put a smile on many faces that he worked with and alongside. He believed in his ironworker brotherhood and was proud to call them family.
May we all reach out and help his wife Carmine continue to be the rock and raise and support Joe’s 3 sons. In this struggling time of loss, the small efforts of many will for sure provide comfort and peace for the Sousa family as they absorb this challenge forced upon them.
