I recently auditioned and got accepted be part of the snare line in the NorCal Indoor Percussion Ensemble from Sacramento, CA. As you know, music and playing snare is a big part of my life, so acceptance into this program as a highschooler is an honor. At age 16, I am one of the younger auditionees who got offered a contract and the only person on snare that is still in high school.

Although NorCal Indoor is in it’s first year, we are traveling as far as Dayton, Ohio for Open Class Championships. In addition to competing against other prestigious ensembles, this program will help me gain confidence, develop a strong work ethic, and give me a sense of what is required to be successful for my next steps in life.
