He had many careers in his life including fireman, professional truck driver, sheet metalist plus so many more. He loved working with his hands and even rebuilt a boat and lived on it while in his 30's.
Herman enjoyed life while scuba diving off the beaches of Catalina Island, spending time traveling through Mexico, enjoying scenic rides on his beloved motorcycle and raising a dozen or so of us kids.
When in his 40's he met Vivian and they married bringing together their children from both of their previous marriages to make their blended family. They eventually ended up adding two more children into their large family. Among these children are Mark, Ivy, Kim, Charles, Debbie, Doris, Dorothy, Robin, Vivian, Judge, William, Shawn & Shannon.
In the end of his life Herman was surrounded by his wife Vivian of almost 50 years, his children Robin, Vivian, William, Shawn, Shannon, grand children Theresa, Cameron, Elijah, Aubrey, Zoe, Sebastian & great grandchild Kaylee.
